Specifications and SSID Authentication

SSID Authentication Process
- End user associates with wholesale SSID and opens web browser
- INN intercepts web browser and redirects to login page
- End user enters user name and password
- INN sends user name and password to INS, via the management tunnel, using RADIUS protocol
- INS (Intelligent Network Server) relays the radius request to Kordia™ Jet billing system. The INS provides the radius connection and hosts the network management system
- Jet bill relays the radius request to the RSP radius server
- RSP authenticates the end user
- End user logs on
Service Specification
Kordia™ Metro Wi-Fi services are based on 802.11b/g technology in the unlicensed 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands.
Due to the nature of Wi-Fi technology and variables (eg end user location when using the service, network and spectrum congestion) Kordia™ cannot guarantee service availability or network performance.
Kordia™ strives to mitigate variables by implementing and managing the Metro Wi-Fi service in an appropriate manner.
