Faster access to video and audio news clips. That's what clients can expect from AAP's new broadcast monitoring network.

After a two-year planning and development process with Kordia as its technology partner, Newscentre - a division of the Australian Associated Press (AAP) - has launched a new broadcast monitoring network that provides clients with fast access to video and audio news clips.

There has been no significant competition in the Australian broadcast news monitoring market for some time,” said Kylie O’Reilly, AAP’s Managing Director, Agency Enterprise.

“With the launch of radio and television news monitoring, business and government clients finally have a cost-effective choice with Newscentre’s monitoring services.”

AAP’s Newscentre broadcast monitoring service complements its extensive newspaper, magazine and text monitoring service, providing an integrated solution to companies who wish to monitor the Australian news media online.

Kordia is proud to be a key partner to AAP’s latest innovation in news monitoring service.

“This has been a very exciting project for Kordia - one which has allowed us to deliver on our brand values and demonstrate what we do best,” said Jeff Galyer, Kordia’s General Manager of Private Networks.

“We have designed and built a customised network solution, leveraging our broadcast pedigree and IP networking skills. The outcome has delivered an on- time, on-budget solution to AAP.”

Kordia has broken new ground by successfully integrating diverse technology streams into a customised network solution for the client.

As part of this launch, AAP created a user-friendly website that enables clients to access their media monitoring content at the click of a mouse.
