When Vodafone Fiji experienced dropped calls and poor call quality due to the overwhelming customer response from its recent marketing campaign, Kordia’s ‘network doctor’ was on hand to provide the right remedy.
Kordia Solutions Consultant, David Barker, and Principal Radio Engineers, Andrew Castle and Ben Meldrum, liaised with Vodafone Fiji to obtain the relevant network configuration information, and analyse data to generate a detailed network performance report.
Providing recommendations on improving Vodafone Fiji’s current network, the report provided advice on dimensioning guidelines, rectification of configuration mismatches and suggestions on RF planning.
Kordia also proposed a plan to help Vodafone Fiji prepare their network for future promotions to manage sudden increases in call traffic.
“We are very pleased,” said Vodafone Fiji CTO, Raj Deo. “Kordia has some great and switched on people that we feel very comfortable to work with. Thank you and your team for coming to our rescue.”
