Kordia has today been named amongst New Zealand’s top 15 most important IT operators in the MIS Strategic 100.
Coming in at number eight, Kordia is breaking new ground in the New Zealand telecommunications industry; pipping many of the large incumbents.
Its company profile in the special report features: Kordia’s voice, broadband and web-hosting services via Orcon, AIS tracking, the new business-focused OnKor™ carrier Ethernet service, and the trans-Tasman submarine cable project, OptiKor™.
“The fierce competition to make it on the list of the most tactically important operators in the region has certainly proved impressive,” writes CIO magazine. “Our expert judging panel chose the … [top] 15 from an extensive cast of local players.”
Kordia is right up there. “Through a series of acquisitions in New Zealand and Australia, Kordia has established a framework for change towards next-generation broadband networks,” it says.
The results of the report are not yet online.
